Who we are
Buganda Kingdom-owned coffee exporting and value addition company.
Mwanyi Terimba Limited (MTL) is a Buganda Kingdom-owned coffee exporting and value addition company limited by shares. The company was established in 2020 as the commercial arm of the successful 2016 Emmwanyi Terimba initiative.
The Emmwanyi Terimba initiative is a royal campaign by the Kingdom of Buganda aimed at revitalizing coffee production and improving market access for smallholder farmers within Buganda and Uganda at large as a pathway to poverty alleviation.
Today, MTL works with over 17,000 organized smallholders, farmer groups, and cooperatives across Buganda, including women, youth, and PWDs, using structured administrative systems to deliver extension services, training, and market access.
